Heather Jarrell, also known as Heather S. Jarrell, is a pathologist with the Office of the Medical Investigator. She is the chief medical examiner, the director of neuropathology and an associate processor of pathology.
According to the University of New Mexico website, she received her undergraduate degree from Valdosta State University in Georgia and her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Georgia. She finished an anatomic pathology residency and a neuropathology fellowship at the University of Virginia and then did a forensic pathology fellowship at the Virginia Commonwealth University. She specializes in neuropathology.
